My left rota-tor cuff aches, my sciatic nerve on the go pedal side aches clear up to my rear.
I got over there about 12. They do have a nice new office and store. Minimal pre-packaged sandwiches, drinks and snacks.
I asked and Superlift is not part of it anymore. It's the Hot Springs Offroad Park.
We discussed the trail conditions as compared to back about 2011, the last time I was there.
Knox did say they had done a lot of repair so that less difficult trails were passable.
It had gotten really rough.
Heck, it's still really rough in a way but then that is what we go for right?
It took me 4 hours to run some familiar trails. So with a small group it could take 5 or more hours.
There were some technical issues in places. Large rocks are now exposed or just laying there like bowling balls so tire placement is important.
I made some three point turns rather than a three point roll and avoided pushing my tires forward at full lock.

If you guys are running 14mm toothpick tie rods pickup some 16mm spares if you are going to continue to go offroad.
Then read how to replace them if you should need them.
There are lots of trails to just explore and some you can go to the head of and watch people "attack" really difficult climbs.
The Christian Crawlers from Louisiana were starting to show up as I was leaving. They are a great bunch and I have guided them on occasion. So there will be some activity going on. It looked like a Jeep convention.
I saw one relatively new looking, no dents yet, four door Jeep with every accessory there is but he was asking about level 2 trails.
It had advertising from some custom shop and was trailered. I think it was a virgin?
I will share what I know, since I don't know your level of wheeling experience is, shut me up if you have this down.

This was the first pipe across the road entering that area. Doesn't look like much until you see it but look how much my tire is stuffed on one side and dropped on the other. Too fast and you will drag your bumper, hard.
It knocked my tow hook up.
I'm going to have to trim my flares somemore.
