Do you have cut your rear fender panels to fit the rear ARB bumper? The promo pic makes it look like there are replacement pieces put in there. But then I thought I heard someone say that you have to cut those parts to fit. I am referring to the plastic behind the rear tires where the ARB bumper wraps around.

Also does someone have a pic of the rear bumper from directly behind the vehicle? I have seen it on the ARB H3 in red, but would like to see a black bumper on a 3.

In this pic the rear bumper looks way too wide. Compared to the stock bumper it seems out of place. If you look at the plastic pieces above the bumper it looks like they have a lip vs being cut to fit.

Yes, you have to cut the plastic behind the wheels to fit.

In South Africa and Aus, the H3 came standard with fender flares and the ARB was made to fit to this width (think you can order it for non fender flare models as well)

Yes, like Sennin said the plastic 1/4 panels have to be cut. Here is the install instructions for the ARB rear bumper.

You can also find more pictures of the rear bumper here

Also like Sennin noted there are two separate bumpers available (both front and rear) for applications with or with out fender flares.

Those panels cut pretty easily too.
The standard width bumpers fit in tight with the body lines. The Euro spec bumpers do sit wider to meet their required fender extensions.

These are the pics off the web that I have. I can get more from ARB if needed, LMK if you need certain angles.

opening them up takes 2 minutes. two people is easier, but can be done by yourself.

Aluminum Channels hold the poles in place.

Couple velcro straps hold the fabric on the sides. The ends each have the fabric attached the aluminum channel.

...and yes the chairs match the ARB awnings. They are nice/ comfortable, but too bulky imho to haul arund on day trips to off road.

79" awning fit my JK well. Also the perfect length for the H3 and H2 SUV. You want these awning to sit flush with your rack or just a little bit back further. You won;t be hooking branches with them mounted that way.

The powdercoating on ARB's bumpers are great! They held up whell on the JK ARB bumper I had. I would expect the H3 long term testing would show the same results. The guy that bought my JK still has the bumper mounted up. Last time I saw it, it looked brand new still, no rock chips.

Hmmmmm

That gives me an idea, maybe I will pick up awning and mount it to the factory rails until I decide on a roof rack (still leaning toward a ARB even though its almost as much as GOBI when you add in the cost of the mounting kit).

I would make 2 or even 3 brackets than with a t-nut design like GOBI mounts their feet of the rack to. this will make sure they do not twist on you and arre very solid.

I have the ARB bullbar on my H3, with a Warn 9.5 XP winch and some Lightforce 240 HID's and I'm struggling to reach the clutch lever, I'm now looking for a solution around this problem. I can reach the clutch lever from the bottom, but this wont be feasible when stuck chasis deep in mud
