U do realize I was in 2hi 95% of the time.
Yup, and I also realize that the Toyota weighs about 5,500 pounds and had what looks like street tires and has about the same HP/torque as you, the Dodge weighs about the same as the Toyota (maybe a little bit more, but only by a few hundred pounds or so) and does look to have offroad tires (so a bit grippier than those street tires possibly) and has far less HP but a bit more torque than you (unless he modified it, but doesn't seem like he did), and that your 2008 H2 was still stock it would weigh 1,100 pounds more than either of those trucks, but if you combine that plus all the extras you have on there you're going to weigh around 2,000 pounds (one ton) more than either of them (I'm making a rough guess of another 1,000 pounds, considering you have larger and heavier tires than stock, plus two full spares on the back, as well as front and rear bumpers, roof rack, cage, UCP i'd imagine, etc), and that since you are pulling it's putting a larger percentage of the force on the rear tires, particularly yours since it looks like your end is higher up than theirs, so it would start to lift the weight of the trucks off their rears and focus it on the front.
So an extra 2,000 pounds or so over the trucks, plus having your 7,600 lb's or so of weight more evenly distributed vs their 5,500 mostly at the front (they are trucks with not a lot of weight over the rear tires which is where most of the grip is going to be, even if they are in 4low) I would expect you to out pull them no matter what. It looks like it was fun, and for all I know those two guys might have thought they stood a chance (though one of them did manage to pull you a little, ONCE!), but really, they didn't have much of a chance at besting you.
