Friday is the day to do it. We didn't run into another vehicle on John Bull. I will gladly lead a John Bull run now that I am familiar with it and can run it without getting stuck.

It has gotten much tougher since last June. Gatekeeper seemed easier but everything else was tougher. The narrows is insane now

Just tell your friend to unbolt the exhaust afte the muffler and toss it. It is over rated anyway. Mine is mangled on my TJ right now so its no big deal. I use my rear shock for a pipe rest for mine..lolol..

See you guys tomorrow 10:00 AM. Be prepared for a hard trail now that you warmed up on John Bull..

Just got off mottino scraped my fender a tad destroyed my mirror on the last optional line. B spec is a cool guy and a great spotter. Pics and vids to xone

We talked about it and this obstacle is about the same or a tad bit easier then isham's easiest obstacle. After taking out the mirror I backed out, picked a new line, stacked a few rocks and hoped for the best. I was about a 1/2 inch from scraping both doors.

With all that said, I am willing to do it but I need time to armor up. I have ideas on what exactly needs to be done to protect my rig, I just need time. When I am finished armoring up Bspec said he will take me through.

This line is totally optional for Mottino though, this is at the end and you can take the line that is atleast 6x times easier or this one. I would say if you want a taste of isham run this last line and then multiply the toughness.

Nice job Chris. BTW, mirrors are just for determining trail/obstacle width anyway.

The gatekeeper is easier, the rest of the trail is tougher. That video is only 2 of 15 minutes of spinning to get through.

My buddy in the TJ had a clean run last year and got stuck this time. Bent a tie rod. It's definitely tougher, we did it in 3 hrs with 2 vehicles but 45 min was fixing his exhaust that he trashed.

We ran into no one on Friday so we should do a Friday run. The trail was empty...I can lead or B spec, now that I got through clean I feel comfortable leading

I am game to go back in another month or so. We should run Dish Pan Springs/ T6 crossing up to Big Bear from Arrowhead. Then from there run the full length John Bull trail the next day..
