Brake controller

I have a 07 h3 I have been looking all over the internet I have my controller hooked up with the wires under the dash over the gas pedal . Brake input from pedel , power, ground, brake out put, every works with a test light where do I find the blue out put wire out side of the cab it is not with the trailer light wires in the back. Does it come out of the cab and stop?

Hello all, So I’m trying to connect a aftermarket brake controller I located the four wires underneath the steering wheel area where I need to connect to, one wire is green one is brown one is black with a white stripe and one is red/orange, The brake controller harness wires are colored red one...

We might deal with hooking the trailer and brake controller in the incoming H3 project. Well, m,y friend is still debating if he will tow using the H3 or his current F250 work truck. The truck recently got new tires and dually wheels and the H3 will have the trail setup.

I have already checked this thread and every thing I could find on line all any one talks about is under the dash, even the chat with an expert told me to just hook up the blue brake wire to the controller and it would work. Not if it's not connected to the plug I put on the bumper....thanks for replying. I'll just have to run a line of my own.

Did your H3 come with the factory tow package? If not then I don't think it would have wiring for trailer brakes/lights at all. You'd need to install your own. If it did come with the tow package then there would be a set of 4 wires stubbed out underneath the dash and taped up, Red, Black, White, and Blue. It can be a little tough to find, but it will definitely be there if you have the factory tow package
