Yup, i'm dragging major ass on this project. Work has been extremely stressful and backed up. 3 waterjets and 1 plasma table running 24hrs and we are still a week behind on jobs. Good news is oil and gas production has been steadily going up here in Louisiana, no thanks to Obama. Once we start catching up on jobs I'll have the first pair cut. Again sorry for dragging ass guys.

Glad things are busy, there's still a lot of people who would love the work or job market to turn around. Now get those cut, just kidding glad to see this is still floating around.

Looks like tomorrow or Friday is the day, unless any unforseen jobs pop up. I'm going to cut version 1 and version 2 out of 20g s.s. My guys in the back seem pretty pumped about doing the job as well. Once its cut I'll post some pics

side plates.jpg So as the prototype. I went with version 1.0. This is my favorite of the two. Using 20g brushed 316 s.s. I still need to mock them up on the H3 and then rhino line them. Once I figure out where the holes need to be cut i'll add it the in the program for the 2nd set.

On a side note. The side plates are a lot heavier and ridgid than what i thought.

I still have the prototypes sitting behind my desk. The time putting into wasn't worth it and we are so backed up with work, I didn't want my guys cutting these pieces when we have $250k worth of orders to complete a month. Only down time I see us having to cut these is in December, when work slows down.

Makes perfect sense, I might have to bug you for those files however my buddies race shop will be busy now that race season has started up until about Oct so I wouldn't be able to get it cut until then anyway lol
