Clanking and clunking/vibration

I'm getting Clanking and clunking noise + vibration from my front end. Seems to be getting worse. If I hit even a pebble in the road I hear the clinking noise. Can this be the front diff falling out? Of course I need to investigate but I hear that the crossmember mounts go bad and or the bolts need to be tightened ??

Any info or anyone have this issue in the past?

I've had the exact sound since I got my hummer, never caused any damage, and I have no idea what it is.

I don't have a clunky sound per day, but rather a click click click sound coming from what I think is the front, but idk if it is the daring drive shaft that's making that nose due to the boot being torn, or idk, I first thought it was the cv with the torn cv boot but I replaced with a new one and the sound still coming every now and then as it used to. It manly does it when accelerating from a complete stop.

The differential mounts are a good place to start. Also check motor mounts and your body mounts since you did a lift.

It's certainly not the body mounts as this noise is been happening for a while just progressively got worse. I will drop the plate under the engine and start there

Check your sway bar end links as well

Differential mounts are brand new, I'm almost positive now that it is my front drive shaft, although I had to different family known friend mechanics subjecting hat they hear a sound coming from my rear end, so idk might have to have the rear differential open and check as well and throw a locker while at it, just too many repair lately and not enough time, since I want to do the repairs myself.

Front shaft is easy to diagnose. Pull front shaft out and run in 4hi lock. Sound should disappera if problem is in front drivetrain.

Got you, that's exactly what I was thinking on doing except I was going no run it on 4 hi unlock, will do that in 4 hi lock. Thanks
