Yep. Got the SERV 4X4 indicator on the dash with a flashing light on the locker button. Happened out of the blue while driving on pavement.

That happened to me in my 06 H3 while I was actually in Big Bear, but minus the flashing locker button (I did have the locker though)...We were solo and just cruising maintained roads and I got the serv 4x4 message. Everything worked fine and it turned out to be the encoder motor, it just didnt know what gear I was in.

As for Cleghorn I'm a maybe..thats one of the (semi) local trails I have yet to do..I'v seen pics n stuff but how is the difficulty rating of cleghorn..mild or wild?

Well the good thing about Cleg .. is that every wild has a bypass right next to it ... I did this run as my first one ever with nerf bars ... the nerfs didnt survive .. but I did ;)

Doesnt sound to bad..I'm just not in the mood to break things or get towed home..but a nice sunday offroad does sound nice..so I'm a maybe for now

Shouldn't be too tough of a day if you don't want it to be. Like others have said there are the bypasses. I put you down as possible Matt:thumbs:
