I believe it is how the snorkel connects with the air box inlet - people here have posted how they adapted it to work so I am sure you can find details with a search

Do you mean the 3.5L? That does have a different inlet to the air box. Didn't think any of the 3.7L had a different air box, but maybe. Mine's a 2008 so I had no problems.

That’s what I was thinking. 06 had the 3.5 and 2007-2010 had the 3.7 except the Alphas with the V8.

The kit comes with a square fitted end that goes to the airbox. On 06 and 07 the fender side of the airbox is round. I adapted it to work by using a rubber coupler to connect to the airbox. Then I cut off the tube part of the adapter that camewith the kit and connected the airbox coupler to the tube inside the fender. Actually easy to install.

Just installed what appears to be the identical product from Amazon without issue (other than needing an M7 bolt for the antenna adapter) on a 2008.

Mines been on for a while now. Installed to help get cooler air to intake and it helped greatly.
