H3 Engine, transmission, diffs and transfer case

Hi guys how’s everyone, I’m not sure if this goes here but I’ve been with a big debate in my head, my 2007 h3 is near 235000 miles, has a bit of rust since I’m from Michigan, the engine feels ok but is burning up to 2 1/2 quarts of oil between oil changes, and makes a ringing noise now when is at idle; also transmission feels fine but has started to leak a bit from the main gasket, and there is another small leak that I haven’t been able to find on the hoses that got from the trans to the radiator, plus a tapping noise that comes from the front cv axle I believe, and the front diff also has a small leak that barely started; so with all this my question is what should I do, either fix all the issues with it?, replace the whole engine, transmission and both differentials? Or just sell it at a decent price and get an alpha?

I vote get an Alpha with 120,000 miles or less.

You might be able to get a good deal on one from Canada.

Unless you can do all the work yourself, I would sell it and get an Alpha or something. Just make sure what you get doesn't also need a bunch of work done to it.

Considering you're looking at up to $10,000 for engine and transmission if done by a 3rd party, you need to really value your H3 over other options. As for the other pieces (diffs, etc.) you might have to do that same work on a used H3 so I'd consider those items a wash.
