Probably failure to control the vehicle. Tustin has an Alpha rollover at the shop being fixed now. I think it was icy road issues there also.

Yeah, I think they said the Alpha had rolled 7 times. If that's the case then the damage is surprisingly light considering......

you usually get a ticket if you crash regardless. I'm pretty sure its considered reckless driving. My friend just totaled his xterra in a whiteout this winter and got a reckless driving ticket. He luckily walked away unscratched after rolling it down a bank 3 times, but just the fact you couldn't control your vehicle is enough for them to give u a ticket. From what i could tell from the video he slipped on ice and went to far on the bank and flopped over. I've had a similar thing happen on a sharp turn before, except i didn't flip, it was just a big open field, backed up and kept going.

That truck came back nice! I like the blue.

I've seen a few roll overs head over to Tustin for a rebuild. Including a few that got totalled out. [they could be rebuilt but at the cost of just buying another rig]

In most cases it's either high speed in snow/ice, or a high speed turn on soft soil/dirt of some type.

When I worked on the Hulk 2 film, there was a few HMMWV chase scenes, a stunt crew flipped a HMMWV on grass, they were driving it about 30-40 mph and made a hard right turn.. the front tires acted like shovels and flipped the truck end over end. Fortunately no one was hurt and they used that footage in the final film. They just added a CGI Hulk smashing the truck and causing it to flip over.

It could have went the other way, there was a stuntman in the gunner position, he just ducked into the truck just as it went over. Very lucky guy.
