Hey everyone, I'm Charlie. My wife and I just picked up an '06 H3 with 34k miles. Swore I'd never get into another hummer after my military experiences, but my wife had an itch to do something a little different. Everything seems solid and in good working order. Not sure what modifications it has outside of a K and N intake kit I saw under the hood. We will most likely do some upgrades as we can afford them starting with a roof light kit she has her eye on. Anyway, this seems like a good group of folks and I look forward to talking with you.

Welcome to H4O from SoCal.

What are your plans for the 3? Off road or pavement pounding?

The H3 is for my wife who does property management. We live in the country on one of Georgia's famous red clay bed roads. To answer your question, it will mostly be a pavement pounder, but we would like to dress it up a litttle with roof marker lights, front brush guard and roof rack. My personal and unoffical plans are to take it out after a nice rain to navigate our dirt roads.

Sweet. We can help you with that. I'd recommend starting with mud tires. They'll help a lot on the wet dirt roads. Do you have front and rear lockers?
