Hey guys - I am hoping to make it this weekend - but have a couple of questions.

I still have not managed to get a hold of a UCP and install it - although I do have my Hunner skids + Spider Diff cover on.
Any thoughts on how much UCP will be needed for this ride & if needed, where I might be able to get my hands on one this week?

I am a little hesitant to go without it - as I really don't want to do major damage. Feedback or thoughts appreciated.

I was taking with a guy at Kent 4wd who has been there a few times. He said there are obstacles that could cause damage, but they area mostly easy to bypass.

Of course I'm not sure if easy to bypass means the same thing to a guy that works in an offroad shop.

Hey there Dave! I'm so glad you can make it this weekend! It will be great to wheel with you again! You may not need the UCP. I've never been to Naches either, but like kmug said, you could just do the by-passes. At least you've got the skids and diff cover. But I can't remember... Do you have sliders? Those are pretty important to have for rocks, but again, just do the by-pass if possible.
Just my 1 cent worth... :roll:

I've got rock sliders, so hopefully those plus skids and diff cover and I would be in good shape. A wild and crazy week of work travel for me ahead, but will confirm my attendance by mid-week. Watching about an hours worth of youtube videos on Naches Trail - really got me fired up!

Anyone bringing spare tie rods?

I still have time to buy a spare tie rod to bring along with me... but I was just wondering if anyone else is bringing spares, or do I need to bring one along this time? :huh:

I am bringing a spare inner and outer 16mm tie rod, a half shaft and the tools to swap them out. :cheers:

Hey guys! We're back home again after 12 hours on the road. We have put on about 1600 miles driving this last week! Can't wait to get out on that trail and forget all about the rest of the world for awhile!

I'll send out the roster list tomorrow.

If anyone has nurf bars or steps, I would recommend you take them off for this trip. I would hate to see anyone tear up their stuff!

SGT-Wright, I have your rack, and I will try to get to the store a little early. If you can make it a little early hopefully we can get it mounted on your truck and be ready to go on time. Looks like it shouldn't be too hard.

Ok, I'm off to bed to sleep for many hours!
