Been a long week, ready for the weekend. Excited to have Recon back stateside (it's always great to have our members return home safely), looking forward to the pics from Cliffs Insane Terrain outing this weekend. I told Bigunit I'd help him watch paint dry this weekend if he wants the help. For once, I don't need to work on my truck. Rear shocks are in, camshaft position sensors are in, Hunner steering rack sleeve is in. What do y'all have going on?

I have the whole weekend off which is nice. Im dying to test out the new spring over but I'm best off to wait so I don't cause damage. Installing new longer brake lines (yes I ordered them in red) other then that hangout and relax

I am getting my rig and gear ready for a upcoming off road outing next weekend.. Have to make sure my rig is ready and all of my gear is good to go... Will post pics and video of my adventure upon return....:woot:

Drove junior back to school today in the T. He enjoyed 8hours of my presence after he stayed up until 5 am. I was so tempted to go into my full metal jacket drill instructor imitation -- but restrained myself

Truck work, truck work, and did I mention truck work? I should probably start my build thread soon, even though most of it is still maintenance/rebuild/fixing hacktastic fixes at this point.

Hitting Harbor Freight tonight to get a hoist and a few misc tools, then the engine comes out. Probably spend a lot of the weekend cleaning nasty crap off the motor / frame and rerouting/rewiring as needed. Suspension and steering are probably next week.

Can't wait for the job is done for the week so I can get to real work. :)

I'll be putting in 10 hour days at the new gig for 10 days in a row -- wish me luck! :wink:

Hoping by next weekend I can play a bit with my truck in some regard...maybe I'll head down to Myrtle Beach...or maybe I can try and meet-up with some NC guys or something...

:giggle: I am close... It was much easier when my first class was at 11a and all I had to worry about at night was if I was going to drink Labatt or Shock Top. :wink:

Alternating between finishing pulling the motor out of the buggy/go-cart (bent valve and lotso gas in the oil so replacing the 150cc engine), replacing a lifter and changing the timing belt on my wife's 91 Daytona (aka The Bright Blue Go-Cart), gotta get a starter and electric fan ordered for the mini-van so I can install those next week. The dirt bike needs some carb work as it's ride-able but dumping gas (it's way it's on the back burner). Gotta get up and get the yard mowed tomorrow, as I just got the lawn mower put back together after a series of things happened at once to shut it down.
Mechanically, my life has been on the skids lately------fortunately the deuce is still flying high.

I have a tranny leak to locate on the Monte Carlo and a full intake cleaning on the Hummer. Recently threw a P0107 code so I think it is time. I alos picked up a few goodies from Zach that need to go on the truck.
