Battery or bad cables maybe. Try the battery disconnect and reconnect after waiting a couple minutes.

Can you disconnect the connection to the BCM. Bad connection there maybe? Bad battery ground cable?

Probably your battery and battery terminals. How old or new are the terminals?

Those lasted a looong time for you. You are way over due to replace them all if that is the case.

That was fast and glad to hear that it may have been the cause and an easy fix.

Well I spoke too soon...getting a stabil sys failure. And while I was driving the shift point were really high for normal acceleration. Also the speedo doesn't work now

So I was reading on a chevy cobalt forum about these codes and they are basically communication error codes between different modules. One guy said a device he plugged into his OBDII was shorted and gave him all.sorts of weird activity. Now that I think of it I have noticed that to be a pattern with me, I'll test It tomorrow

You changed the battery but not the terminals? Those cause havoc too.

+1 replace the terminals too. Communication errors a lot of times are caused by a bad battery/connection. Start with the terminals before you waste time chasing down those codes

Since I assume you bought a new battery with standard post style terminals id look into running a military style terminal connector.

I make sure to buy all my replacement batteries with the stud post style terminal and switch my connectors over to that stud style setup, but the military style setup is the next best thing if you have a standard post style battery.

Might seem like pain in the ass but for me the standard oem terminal connectors on vehicles 9 times out of 10, go to crap in a heartbeat once they have been taken off a few times and I hate dealing with them and how ugly they look. So its a no brainer for me but I can understand why some wouldn't want to spend the time/money on it.
