This is my 2nd H3. I really like them.
it's a 2008 H3 Alpha and I use the wheels off it. I'm part of a local 4x4 Search and Rescue group - so all of the stuff that I've done to it is with that in mind. Eventually, I'll build myself another buggy - but SAR is so much fun, I just am not motivated to it.
What I've done:
9500 lb Superwinch on my own-built winch mount
305/75 16 Toyo tires
CB and Ham radios with antennas
twin Viair air compressors
roof rack/front brush guard
mounts inside to keep gear from floating about
fire extinguisher
I'm also quite the car nut, and have a 1975 Corvette, a 1979 Fiat spider that I'm putting a twin turbo 3.6l motor from a CTS Cadillac, and a 1950 Buick Sedanet that will be 430 cubes with twin turbos as well. My backup rig is a 1983 Chevrolet 4x4 diesel truck (with a turbo, of course)
Anyway, I've been chasing bugs out of this rig - and you'll find me asking a lot of questions about stupid stuff like PO121 codes, and where to put stuff (the air compressor is under the vehicle... there's not a lot of room)
