Hey all, looking forward to learning what others have done with their rigs. I really like my H3 so far, and looking forward to doing mods.Hoist

Thanks all. I'm going back on hitch flying EMS so I won't have time to play but will be looking at things to do to improve my rig. Only thing I've done so far is pull the pretend a grill off the hood and plasti coat the center section. Thinking about doing the grill (don't like the chrome) and doing something with the plastic bumper (plastic, really?). I don't have the adventure model so I'd like to get a locker for the rear but that may be a while.

welcome.... pay attention to the ads. I have a plan to replace my rear electric locker with a detroit or tru-track; and put an electric locker in the front.... which means my current e-locker will be for sale :)

You know that a tru-trac isn't a full locker, and the only benefit will be high speed on road when it's a snow or ice covered road, right?

You should sell it to me, and I'll come up, bring beer and we can install it

Sorry, been a bit since Ive been on. Thanks for the welcome! Ended up workin on the vette, it's a 91 that used to be TPI. Converted to carb And vortex heads (did that a while back) and finally updated fuel delivery with 90 Chevy pu fuel pump for TBI. It has a 12 psi output but is identical shape/mount to original vette pump and is quieter than holly pump.
Why bother? Inexpensive to repair over computers and injectors on a 20 YO system.
ultimaley I'd like to drop an L98/350 or 400 xnsmsn and really transfer case into h3. Although small diesel has its merits.

image.jpgMan, this was painful but here is a pic. 2 inch lift (no reason to go more at this point), blacked out hood and grill. Still have to do the mirrors.

Much obliged. Need to replace the pass mirror/mount (flops around), they are pretty cheesy. Wish there was a better option. Put rancho shocks on that are good for the slight lift.

I'd like to do a 5.3 conversion but that's a way off. Carb 350 would be better......
