Doug, it is 1.625 Billion rounds of ammo they have purchased. Depending on the source that could supply the US Military with enough ammo to fight the Afghan war for 24-30 years. The military used 5.5 million rounds per month on average.

Hopefully Americans that are in Homeland Defense have enough sense not to listen to any asinine orders from Osama Obama, I mean the current administration.

I was think about the other day. 2717 divided by 50 states is about 55 for each state, multiply it by 10 operators plus driver and commander (12 people total) it is a force of 660 agents in each state. And this is only in MRAPs, there are allot of other armored carrier already in use.... hmmmmm... and 1.6 billion round?...
