Isham Canyon

I searched chicken rock and chicken bridge. It looks like some doubt you could do it but its definitely doable! A barely modified FJ did it. The only thing I see is pucker being an issue as your climbing some rocks off camber by a straight drop off ledge but thats what makes it fun!

I gotta go out there and do some trails with you. Most of em seem very doable, Isham canyon being the exception even then I would like to give it a try.

Yah the bridge! I think it's closed, not sure why. That's in South Park Canyon, been up there many times but have not crossed the bridge. The bridge has a weight limit, no Hummers but I don't think the 3 applies. People have rolled their rigs at the rock but have not gone over. I don't think we'd have a problem. But once you go up there is no turning around. Isham, there are vids that better illustrate the squeeze points, after seeing Jeeps go through with contact an H3 just isn't going to make it unscathed.

I don't see how they landed it so close to the middle of the trail unless they had the driver's side half way up the rock wall. Maybe they were scared of the drop-off?

I'm thinking they got excited with the throttle. Its a big drop off I understand the pucker factor!

That trail looks like a good one for beaters.. A fun trail, but its going to beat the livin crap of the outside of your rig. Doable yes, without damage, probably not by the looks of it.:no:

Yes Isham is doable with some body damage. Prob is I don't want that, even though I'd like to prove an H3 can

She said that she found a shop to make them. I may pull the trigger on those and run them on the tougher trails.

I'm waiting on the version with power windows . Actually she did a great job on them, I just don't like getting my T full of dust.

The H1 always has enough dust in it to grow crops after most runs. Takes a little time to clean it out but I hate being on the trail with my windows rolled up.

I agree...and wheeling with the doors off can't be that much worse. I have done it before and driving off the trail most of it blows away. The visibility gains are ridiculous and make the dust worth it

Old thread but If anyone wants to take a shot at Isham Canyon let me know. I live in the area and have been up it many times. I am in the red Jeep in the Video. I would expect some body damage for sure and might even lose a window.

3:1??.. You mean a 4:1? Just be prepared to get winched with 40's.. Everyone that I know that has been up it with 40's gets stuck all over the place.

no Atlas 3:1 (4:1 is tooo low, 2:1 is little too high)

Toyota in the first vid seems to be doing OK.
