Guess I'll get things started in here.
Hi all & welcome to the H3T section, I never did a build post on mine so here's my 09 H3T. I don't have pics for every thing (damn noobs ) but I'll update it when I can.

First week - I picked it up the begining of January 2009 from Reeves Hummer in Tampa (remember when there used to be Hummer dealers )

First real offroad trip with was in April 2009, joined big2dabank (Jeff) @ a Wheelers for the wounded event @ Hardrock in Ocala. had alot of fun & Jeff helped me give the T a good test run the first day  then threw me to the wolves the second day & left me alone w/ a bunch of heeps :(. This is when I learned the T's were wheel base challenged (Glad I got the Adv Pack as the F & R lockers helped alot). Jason, the event organizer used to have a Hummer so I stuck w/ him & everyone else in the group was great even though they had play bumper monkey & pull me over a few spots.

Jeff scaring the s*** out of me & his dad, hint pick the right gear before starting up the hill so you don't roll back scaring the noob!
(scared himself alittle too I think :p)

On to some mods - On the outside I've added some of the usual stuff, SMA brush guard, body color grill, Diamondback bed cover, locking fuel door, tail & side maker light guards & a custom front hitch w/ removable winch mount. Armor add ons are Rockyroad rails soon to be replaced w/ some Ridgedemon ones (get to welding Brodie :corn:) factory UCP, a full set of Hunner skids & Rubberduck diff skid.

On the inside - some extra storage w/ a BA seat pack which I'm going to move to the passenger side as I took a play out of paladin's book & picked up the Smittybuilt GEAR cover for the drivers seat & a Daystar dash caddy. Electronics include Midland portable CBs & a pair of GMRS/FRS radios, Garmin handheld GPS, scan guage & RAD1 inclinometer I don't use the last 2 much cuase I still can't decide on a good place to mount them. And guess I'll throw the perfomance mods in here as well which are an Airdoc intake & PCMforless tune

I love my Model T. Even after 2 years, I still enjoy seeing people tilt their head sideways (like a confused hound dog), thinking "what the hell is that thing???"

X2 -- A lot of people think my T is a custom made H3 because of the slant. Love it! :D

Nice thread.

I find when I need a little extra ground clearance it helps to get the lard a$$ out of the passenger seat. ;)

I agree on the long wheelbase being a positive and a negative. I don't appreciate the positives as much as I mind the negatives because the positives save seconds while the negatives hold the group up for minutes. I also agree on the T turning heads, especially with the SlantBack.

It will be interesting to see before and after pictures and compairisons of Rocky Road to Rock Bashers.

Ive always loved the T's and seeing them in this section makes me love them more. Just wish my wife would get on of those instead of a car.

New Mods 05 2012

Well I finaly got around to adding some stuff to the truck.

We'll start w/ new tires, I got 35” Cooper Dicoverer STT's. After the Black Mnt trip I'm very happy w/ these. Running about 18 psi they performed great on trails that I struggled on w/ the Bridgestones & shed mud better than anyone else w/ similar tires by ProComp, BFG ect. On road they handled well & didn't sound that much louder than the Bridgestones

Next the Ridge Demon rock rails finally got put on. These are monsters, 1 of them wheighs what both of the Rocky Roads do. They also provide a lot more protection & mount better.

Then I added a few new interior mods, which include some Ram Mounts to the dash caddy for my GPS & cellphone, on the center console Pro Clip for my tablet, switched out the Pro Clip dash mount which covered the A/C vent some (a big no no herein Fla) for 1 from Bracketron which now holds my CB & a LED flashlight from 511 tactical. I love their flash lights, been using both models at work for a few years so I figured I'd add 1 to the T. They use a capacitor instead of batteries so they recharge in under 2 minutes, don't build a memory, also have adjustable beams, dim, strobe ect. Only down side I've found so far is they don't hold a charge as long.

Next chapter is a 20” Rigid E series from Expedition Hardware. They are pricey but after comparing them to other makes it was an easy choice & as usual dealing w/ Tim was great. The combo beam gives you flood light on the first 4 of each side then the remaining 32 are spots. I used their U cradle to mount it on the brush guard, I needed to drill 2 holes as the slots in it did not quite reach far enough to line up w/ the tabs on my brushguard. They come w/ a nice wire harness, plenty left over under the hood & w/ the relay mounted on the firewall near the E brake cable it's long enough to reach the center console. The wires were connected backwards from how their instructions were written but it was an easy fix. Until I figure out my other lighting/switch choices I'm going to use one of the factory offroad light switches so I don't add any extra holes in the dash. Brightness was great, during daylight you could still see it reflecting off a stop sign at about 740ft, at night it's great, better than high beams or low beam & fogs, w/ good usable light in the 600-700ft range. My night photos came out awful so I need to re-shoot those. After seeing all the bugs platter on the grille I think I'll be adding some of their covers to the shopping list. & my power plug will be mounted to the bottom of the cradle.
