KM2's on backorder

I'm finally ready to pull the trigger on a set of KM2's for the truck, only problem is they are on backorder. I have heard many consistently good things about KM2's so I'd really prefer to get those, but I may not want to wait months.... So: Does anyone have any suggestions for alternatives?

The KM2's flip flop on and off of backorder. The last time I got mine, they went through a part number change and had them in a week. What size are you running Mikkel?

Interesting.... The shop I spoke with wanted to make a couple calls to their suppliers and then give me a more solid estimate. I'm running 37x12.5x17

I'm running the Goodyear Kevlar MTR's with my runflats in them. They ran about $325.oo each at All American Discount Tire. I haven't had any problems with these. They seem to wear pretty even. I think the oldest two, I had to replace the rears when my springs went bad, have about 40,000 miles on and look pretty good. I think that they may even come with naked ears! LoL :D

I will check some of my sources tomorrow. Same tire size I'm running too

Anyone have experience with Nitto Trail Grappler? It looks like they are available in 37x12.5.x17.

Edit: i had a very good experience with their "siblings": Nitto Terra Grappler on my H3. From browsing reviews the only slight concern I have is that apparently their sidewalls down't flex very much, so I'd probably need to air way down. -Which hopefully shouldn't be a concern since I have beadlocks.

and you have CTIS! lol you can adjust rather quickly and find the sweet spot....

Benlaud may be swapping to these on his H3. Idk if he did or not but he may have some good advice.

...still shopping around for tires and want to make sure I have understood correctly:

If a tire is 37x1350x17, is that the same as 37x13.5x17?

Any of you H1 guys have any concerns with a tire that's 13.5 wide instead of 12.5 which is standard?

Tire Rack says the KM2s may be in around March 9. Not a horrible wait and it would still be ahead of Moab.

Yep, those are the same thing, just a different way of saying it.

When I got my tires last spring I looked at the KM2s also, but they were on national backorder then as well. Then I decided to try the MTR Kevlars, but they were also on national backorder. In the end I went with the Cooper STTs. I am very happy with them. They are not too loud, ride awesome, and are wearing really well. I have wheeled them in sand, mud, dry and wet rock, deep snow, and everything in between and they just eat it all up. They were awesome on snow packed roads here a few weeks ago too. The sidewalls are nice and soft and flex like crazy when aired down. They are pretty tough too. I've had them on some sharp rocks and roots that I was almost sure were going to take out the sidewall, but they made it fine.

Mine are 37x12.50 17s, too.

Ok, I just ordered 4 Cooper Discoverer STT's 37x12.5x17 for a total of $1454 including tax & shipping, seemed like a great price to me. I found a place that had them in stock. The fact that they are in stock, plus Scarman's description of how well they flex, swayed my opinion. A tire that flexes well ought to do *real* well combined with CTIS, hopefully this will give me that little extra bit of control when wheeling. Once the tires arrive I'll truck them up to Mike at Tustin Hummer for installation.

That's awesome, can't wait to see pics of them installed. I have seen the coopers in action on roberts truck and they are impressive in any terrain.
