They come with ballast things which I was hoping they wouldn't but o well they are small and it is all plug and play.

Constant current switching regulators. It would've been neat to see them integrated into the lamp assembly, but that probably would've made them even bulkier. Like you said, no big deal - they look small and well sealed. Hopefully they are true white like Mustang girl's lights. Looking forward to seeing the results!

That sounds way cooler then it probably is lol

Believe it or not, the H4 headlamp has a much sharper cutoff than the H13. I noticed less glare caused by it too. H4 bulbs come with a shield to reduce the amount of light that wld cause glare. The auto align feature comes in handy whenever Im in the city, I align my lights lower and as a result no one flashes me or signals me that my lights are bothering them. Whenever Im out on very dark roads/offroad I put them back up to get more range.

x2! I am really hoping these things can do a better job then the halogens! It would save from having to do a HID retro fit with projectors

I just got an LED light bar, 6k and the light output is similar to daylight. I expected it to be bluish. Not sure wats the deal here.

I've never really been unhappy with halogen lamps. They do tend to yellow as they age, but they're so cheap to replace that you can simply throw new ones in when that happens. Color filtered halogens like Silver Stars are even better.

Only was able to get one headlight in, second one needs some coaxing. Well see if I can get it. In the meantime when darkness falls it'll be a nice side by side

Yes I should mention that the halogen bulb is a silverstar ultra. Haven't done distance since I don't have both installed

I don't have both installed yet but I was out driving last night and the output from one headlight was astonishing. Completely drowned out the halogen bulb

Finally got a break in the weather and got the other one in. The connection to the vehicle's wiring doesn't like the connect fully. Not sure if that will be an issue or not.

Btw the led shot has a rise in the road that the other shot didn't so that's why the distance is off

Mathematically they have twice as many lumens as the halogens. They are super white bright. The highs unfortunately do almost nothing. Imo they go about the same distance but the leds are brighter.

If it doesn't want to fully click in it may be because the o ring from the old headlight is stuck to the connector. That's why happened to mine when I put in the silverstars

No its not that the old o rings are out and click in just fine it's the male plug going into the female part of the car.

Which pic is which? Also, how much do these little boogers cost?

The lights in the bottom pic aren't as bright, but they throw better. That is, the light reaches out further. To me that is more important. I want to be able to see an object in the road at the furthest possible distance, not have it well lit right before I run it over :p

You're using the stock H3 headlight/lens correct? Do you think an adjustment of the LED lights upwards would help them throw farther?
