Let us know about the high beam quality/difference if any. When I had HIDs my biggest complaint was that you lost your high beams if you didn't have a dedicated high beam lamp.

There really bright, I would venture to say there as bright as HIDs but I've never had them in H2 so I don't have a side by side comparison. They are 5000K, they are pure white in person. The pictures were took with a cell phone and don't do them justice. I'll get better ones up.

Unfortunately where I live it will be a while before I'm able to do a distance test to post. There are lights everywhere and going to have to drive a ways to get a good spot for pictures. I do plan on taking some with my Nikon DLSR when I get a chance though. See my build thread to hear my thoughts :)

I think for $150 and being only a single CREE LED, that's asking a bit much lol. Plus like rascole said, reflector has a larger play in light pattern. They do there job and they don't blind other drivers, so I'm happy.

So those who think it won't hold up under water. they just posted a video of them holding the bulb under water for over a minute while running with no issues on Facebook

How is the light pattern? Any dark spots? One thing about the HID kits is they don't work well in a reflector housing, and have terrible light patterns. Curious how this does.

So they came in today. For the h3 it's h13 for the headlight incase anybody didn't know. I haven't installed them because it's pitch black outside and cold as hell. Anyways I went and took the "before" shots tonight so a comparison could be done.

Here they are fresh out of the box

They come with ballast things which I was hoping they wouldn't but o well they are small and it is all plug and play.

I will say they are heavy...mostly all metal, including the ballast boxes.
