Yes it's super easy to install (5 minutes) I will take a bunch of pics in the morning & do a install thread for you.. The only thing you will need its some 3M (double side) tape so you can place it behind the ballast & stick somewhere. That way you won't hear the ballast rattling around in there every time you make a turn.

I got mine installed. Probably about 10 mins because I questioned myself on if they were in the correct rotational orientation in the housing, so I double and triple checked, and could only get them to go in one way. I would have thought the wire would have came directly down from the fan unit. Instead, the wire comes out at like 45° in quadrant 2. I'll see of I can get a pic tomorrow to compare to how your guys' lights install. I'll post some pics in my build thread. (Link in signature)

Mine came in yesterday.

H13 Headlights / Black housings

H10 Fog lights / Silver housings

Truck is in the shop, so it may be a bit before I can get the things installed.

Am I missing something? I replaced the foglights with the h10's which seemed to be the easiest install basically unplugging the old bulb and plugging in the new bulb. There wasn't the extra pieces under the styrofoam that held the bulbs in the box light for the headlights, so it seemed even easier than the headlights. Well I got them both in and nothing. I put the old bulbs in and they worked again. What am I doing wrong?

Does an 07 h3 use h11's? If so I hopefully can return these and get the right ones. I'm a dipsh*t for not double checking.

I thought those were a direct replacement as well.

As long as they fit the socket and the connectors mate up properly, I would have thought you would be good to go.

Have you revisited the issue since your last post?

Any input from Ron or the vendor?

As soon as I get my truck back from the shop, I will give mine a try and see if there are any issues.

It will be very disappointing if those things do not work properly....I HATE mis-matched lights.

It was a tight fit getting them into the housing but everything looked right. I had the wheel well liner off already to replace the steering shaft and that helped a lot. I pm'd Ron but haven't heard back yet. I didn't go any further with the headlights since replacing that shaft took everything put of me. Has anyone else tried installing the foglights?

Had some time to do a bit of checking.

Our trucks require a 9140 bulb for the fogs.

H10's are suitable replacements.

Per several sites: The H10/9145 is a single filament bulb, used as fog light bulb, same as 9140 and 9155, all have a PY20D base, the 9140 is between 37 - 40W and the 9155 is 55W.

Being LEDs, wattage draw and heat are not an issue.

So....since they all share the same connector and base, I say WTF?

At first I only put one in and when the other bulb worked and not the LED I thought the draw might be the issue so I put the LEDs in both sides and still nothing.

No issues with the connectors.
Nothing funky about the fitment?
No o-rings to remove or replace that might hinder them from locking up?

I swapped out the o rings using the ones that were on the zxes that I was using since the leds were such a tight fit that I couldn't get them in at first. I plugged one into the housing but when Iplugged the second one in I just left it hanging. Could that be the issue? The zxes lit up without being in the housing so I figured these should too. The last time I changed the foglights I was able to get them in blindly from underneath but these took a lot more work to get in so I'm glad I had the liner out.

Ok, sorry for the delayed response. For the fogs to work, flip the connection, you could have the polarity backwards, which is causing them not to work. Just disconnect the female end and rotate it 180 degrees. If that does not work I will pm you my number to fix the solution. How does everybody like their head lights so far?

Well, I flipped the connection and the fog lights worked! I didn't do it before since there's the little plastic piece on the bulbs that clips into the harness so I figured there was only one direction they could go. I plugged them in then wrapped the harness and bulbs connector in electrical tape so they don't come loose after getting bumped around over time. I also put the headlights in without issue so I'm looking forward to seeing them at night. Thanks for the info Ron!

What size ZXEs did you have in the fog lights?

Thx

Maxx, I put 9005's in the foglights. They have a higher wattage than the oem size but they fit perfectly. Since I put the led's in I'll probably sell the ZXE foglights and headlights if you're interested.

Motley, how did your fogs turn out?

Brighter than stock?

Hope to see for myself by this weekend.
