I told them the absolute truth and sent that exact picture and a picture with the water line. They're going to cover it, no problems what so ever.

Insurance said my car wasn't a total loss

But they took my mechanics estimate just for a new engine 7200$. They didnt include anything else. We're sending it to the chevy dealer and they'll total it. But it worked to my advantage because they were trying to save my car they valued it at the highest they could 17,425$ which means once they total it i'll get 17,425$

Hopefully they total it.

They totaled it for $18,270.98 Minus a 1000$ deductible that comes out to $17,270.98. we paid 15,500$ new, we only owed 14,300. . Which means we made around 3000$ and 2000$ from brand new.
