P0741 is torque converter clutch system - stuck off
P0496 is evaporative emmisions system flow during during non purge
C0306 is transfer case motor A or B circuit malfuction. All shifting of transfer case

Wow , 3 unrelated codes. Need to see witch ones are current or historical. Service 4wd is due to C0306. I would check connector on transfer case wiring first. Could be wiring damage. You got tree rats where you live? Give transfer case motor a light smackin, may be stuck.
P0741 could be a plugged TCC solinoid in trans. Is this a reman trans? The remanufacturer may have reused the old solinoid and it may have failed.
P0496 could be a bad evap purge solinoid. Could be blocked open due to charcoal granules comeing from a bad canister in the back. If this was an electrical circuit problem there should be a code for a circuit problem on both the P codes.

Oh and welcome to the forum

Thanks for the welcome! The Evap was the sensor underneath the stock airbox near the plugs. Replaced and bingo. Fixed.

Transmission codes had read by friend with the nice scanners and its mechanical/hydraulic. So with 170k miles on original trans (well rebuilt once and solenoid replaced twice) going to get anew trans from parts house and new transfer case motor. Lifetime on motor and 3yr 100k on trans
