New H2 Member From MD

Hey there!
I have browsed the page over the years but decided to become a 'member' now that my 2005 H2's transfer case has decided to self destruct during the Blizzard of 2016. Stealership wants 3900 bucks for a boneyard replacement unit (with unknown mileage/history) and labor. Think I'll locate a reman'd transfer case and do the labor myself - heck I put a Corvette engine into a Porsche.....how hard can a transfer case swap be??

Welcome, I've found them for less than a grand, but you can get them usually around $1400. Not difficult work at all, so you should be fine.
