That's the Sorrel River Ranch Resort just above the rapids and the further rim in that last pic is close to Top of the World trail for those of you who ran that a couple weeks back, gives you an idea of where we were.

That guy must have learned to paddle before he could walk!

Very interesting to see his technique when he goes over those really tall drops.... lean forward and let go of the paddle.... then... SPLASH!

Not kayaking but still... I bet there might be a wee bit of adrenaline involved in this:

Looks like he narrowly missed another rider after the final back flip.....

Nice find, is that part of the red bull thing they do over in Virgin, Utah? i think it's called the Red Bull Rampage, real crazy bike stuff. they hit the rocks a lot harder than we do.

Ha ha.... I like how there is a guardrail (fence) at the very end of the course. Wouldn't want to risk someone getting hurt while going for a leisurely bike ride!

Yep!

...although... I'm sure some say that very thing about us and what we do with our trucks :D

I was going to mention that before. Some people do think were crazy and we come up with excuses like "its not as bad as it looks." Im sure they say the same thing, but from my point of view they are nuts!

I have a friend that used to do the extreme mountain bike stuff. He came in one day with rock rash on his knees and elbows that you wouldn't believe. Forgot his armor and rode anyway. Said he would never make that mistake again. I still cringe thinking about him sitting/walking and the blood oozing from his scabs.

I got a canoe two years ago for the muddy Mississippi here. I have been looking at kayaks recently. My boy should be old enough to ride by himself now. Looks like fun.
