I am running OEM shocks. I have been running set up like this for 4 years and 2 sets of tires. Just turned 100K on the odometer. No issues from the T bar crank. Some people go to the Bilstein shocks. I have an Alpha and have seen no need to change shocks.

So just to get it straight I crank my torsion bars to level the front end of my vehicle and after that there is no need for me to get new shocks. So the only thing I need to do after cranking the torsion bars is to align my tires.

From my understandin, theres alittle more to it. Mine, cranked to about 23 5/8. I also got new front shocks and 1/2" bumpstops. After crankin your Tbars, Your shocks are close to bein topped out. Thats why for the new and longer shocks. There is an easy 1/2" nut mod to keep your stock shocks. I forget who came up w/ it but you should be able to find here. And for the bumpstops, that stops your frontend from divin down when brakin and turnin. This is what I came up w/ when I started my mods and levelin was my first.
