IF they get a new job!:giggle: And if they do get a new job, will it pay as much as their existing job?:no: That's always been one of those brain dead ideas of many union workers I have failed to understand. Yes, find a new job, but it is really best to do that while you are working; especially since the economy sucks and it appears might get worse before better.:roll:
For those of us who actually work, and don't depend on Unions to keep our jobs....a job in hand is better than a chance of a job in a terrible economy.
And if you think that article is all that is written, then no, there is just as much fault to the unions, or should I say the one small union with the large name.
I guess some, like me, will continue to bash unions, while others will continue to stand up and tell the world how great they are.
(I grew up in a union household. my Mother worked for CWA and hated the union, but had no choice in MI, my uncles worked in the car industry as union workers, my grandfather in MI, was actually on the bridge with the Reuthers in 1937(?).) Through the years I have discovered that too many union workers are worthless and using the word "worker" and "union" in the same sentence is an oxymoron. I have also learned that even those that work, don't think for themselves (union says vote for a dog turd and they will turn out and vote for the dog turd); and the they are the biggest group of hypocrites I have ever met. Example, unions are always bashing Walmart; however, I DO NOT know ONE union person who does not shop at Walmart, and I did know a lot of union workers when I worked for GM. And when it came to lay offs or their contracts on moving from plant to plant, they gave no sh*t about their fellow brothers or sisters; they only gave a sh*t about themselves. I had no real problem with that since it is a dog-eat-dog world, but they always walked around raving about brotherhood and sisterhood; hypocrites.

So, in my opinion, enough said from me. Continue on...I have said all I will on this subject.
Need to go take some photos of the H3 and get them posted....
