Gold Bar Rim: Billy lost a ball joint on his Alpha. The repair those guys did was amazing, especially considering the position the truck was in. Due to wear on the tie rod and hyper extension of the half shaft they replaced both of those as well at the same time.

They put a strap and winch line to secure the Alpha in place. It was then lifted with a combination of bottle back and hi-lift. To lower it back down, we attached a second strap from the side as the Alpha wanted to fall to the side.

Since it doesn't take ten spectators to repair the H1 we went a bit further up Gold Bar Rim

ughhh, sorry to hear about the breakdown Dave. I hope you guys can get that one up and running again.

Matt's truck lost the t-case. 85,000 miles so it was due. Tustin Hummer is overnighting one of my spare t-cases. We will install it after the run tomorrow.

Yes Chris, Matt is my brother. His t-case is junk, yard art. Nothing salvageable. The repair on Bill's truck was pretty cool. Very precarious position, major repairs, lots of help from a great crew of wheelers.
