I think the moderator's name used to be Ron or Rod. I think I still have my account information I'll try to login this weekend and post a question for you.

Well waiting on the previous owner to call me back, hopefully today. I need to know if he previously had the H2 re geared and programmed before i start buying stuff. If it isn't, 5.13 Yukon gears and programmer will be ordered ASAP.

Few minor cosmetic detail I'll be doing this weekend. Going to smoke my taillights/turn signals and clearance lights. And maybe bed line my interior dash trim with Dupli-color bed liner. I'll also be conditioning the leather upholstery.

Definitely make sure it hasn't had any work done, because I would be surprised if it didn't. I also checked with Superchips and the word from them is they can only support tires up to 38 because the ABS will trip errors on adjustments above 38, not sure what that really means, but if they could drake it worth without tripping DTCs I'm sure they would. He said even though you have 41s you can program it it for 38s and the gearing you have and it would be pretty close, because most tires are smaller than their labeled size anyway. Anyway just passing along the word.

Thanks for all the help.

According to interco, actual tire size for 41"x 14.5" x 20" is

40.914.97

Looks like I'll be going HyperTech Max Energy. If the truck wasn't previously programmed.

Gears will help a ton and you will quickly realize the power you never thought you lost with those 41s. What gears 4.56 or 4.88? I struggled with the choice of the two and ended up at 4.56, because I still tow occasionally and drive lots of highway miles.

Blacked out my tail lights and front turn signals. Also used wipe new on my bumpers. The stuff works great. I also noticed that i have fab tech heavy duty tie rods. :)

While you have the front diff out I would go ahead and replace the output shaft seals. Talk about piss you off if you break open the diff, get the gears installed and reinstall it and then have output shaft seal leak.
