Dwaine hooked Bigunit and me up with two each of these Swiss NATO gas cans. These are really cool as they have metal tags that can be flipped around to indicate the contents of the container. As a testament to their quality, when I opened one in Dwaine's shop some Swiss air decompressed into the air. (It smelled like the Alps and cheese so I knew they were Swiss). The cans were shipped over about 3+ months ago.

The light surface rust was later sanded away by Bigunit

Finished product. Gotta give props to Bigunit for all the sanding and initial prep; I only put on the final coat. And thanks to Dwaine for the fuel cans!

Nice score and nice refurb.

Don't get caught in California with those lest they throw you under the jail.

Just out of curiosity, how many times do you come close to running out of fuel on a trail run?

Haven't come close on a trail run, but there are camping trips and other events where a little peace of mind would be nice.

We don't have the CARB popo in Arizona. AZ hasn't adopted the 2009 CARB standards.
