While gorman isnt in the valley it is close enough, this was from labor day weekend. We went up Sunday night and came back monday so it was a quick trip. Just played in the 4x4 area and messed around. Ran the sluice box again and only hit my fender...Ran the big rock hill, which I destroyed my rear eaton e locker on.
Also did some high speed wheeling. Hitting dirt roads at about 40-50. I think the valving in the shocks are at the right spot but its time to adjust the nitrogen levels now to really dial it in. I was running 150ish I just had em bumped up to 200...So I gotta pull the temporary shocks Ive been driving on and put those back in. I also did a few gnarly hill climbs. I found one that Ive never seen before. My buddy said on the way down my back tires did come off the ground. Went back up with no issue...
Overall a good day. Didnt get too many pics but here are a few. Overally happy with squeaky's performance. Now that I have it dialed in for rockcrawling its time to start adjusting things to make it better at high speed dirt roads and lastly I made it home without a tow truck so thats good! lol
Last but not least, it was such a quick run I didnt feel like bringing the Hilton hotel tent, its big and a PITA to setup for such a short trip. I decided to give sleeping on the roof rack a try. I will be doing it again! I was comfortable, slept well, and had a great view of the sky. I also used a bungee cord over myself to prevent myself from falling off the rack.
