True. It sees much more groceries than trails. The winch is primarily for forest/farm duty...winching dead cattle...clearing flood debris...logging...etc.
I got a couple more details to do next week. First on the list is to loose the clevis pins on the shackles. I'm going to drill out the threaded side of shackle so its smooth all the way thru, and then install large thru-bolts with captive nuts on the end. This will allow me to crank them tight (much like the H3 shackles) so they don't rattle. This might also prevent them from getting ripped off at the grocery parking lot.
UPDATE...latest pics showing the shackle mod. No rattles, no theft...
