Skid plate question

What are the choices of added skid plate protection that we have? I also have no way of getting them welded on so that might be a problem for me if that is needed.

OEM I would say...for the research I did they are tough...an everyone seem to love them...

U and me are in the same both dude...I think GM warehouse or something like that website has them on stock run for like 350+ or so...an sometimes some fellow club member post then for sale...but I haven't been able to catch me a deal...u could try eBay or Amazon sometimes deals pop up there

I run DOI skids and bumper. Matt doesn't produce the skids any more. Next skid I seen that is a true skid is Schwartz. The oem is not skids, they are only considered protection.

I saw his and I was honestly ready to pull the trigger but then shipping basically killed it for me. It was like 140 or more to ship it I don't remember the exact number.

Completely flat skid plates like that are great for sliding on, but vey bad for accumulating mud and not allowing good air circulation for cooling.

I love my skid plates, things sure surprise me off-road. I haven't had any issues with mud, or snow building up or heating issues. But as long as you get something your good.
