Pretty sure this has been discussed somewhere but, has anyone noticed that the "other" Hummer forum seems to have been down for a while?

The one we all came from. They had another blow up, shut down and reopened without the previous owner. Guess he turned out to be exactly how we said he was.

Yeah its there but reopened. The old bookmarks and links wont work but if you type it into the address bar you will see it. It's not as bad as some would make it sound but not as good as it once was when we were all in one place. The content will rebuild just like it has here. Still a lot of good people that were caught in the middle of a bad series of events and misunderstandings. The trash talk should really be left at a minimum since none of the drama really had much to do with anyone except the admins here and there. The users are still all the same great guys you came to know and love before the split.

Time to let it drop. There are multiple Hummer forums on the net. People will gravitate toward the one or more that best serve their needs. This forum has a lot of wheelers, some good technical support and a lot of really good people that are willing to help others with the Hummer bug at the drop of a hat. It is the most active Hummer forum I see on the net, at least in terms of relevant, current content. Staff and members have worked to bring new and improved product to the members, find deals on OEM equipment, bring group buys to deliver value to the members, sponsor runs for members to get together on and a place to socialize with like minded people. Each person can and will find a home, or in my case homes, on the web for my Hummer habit. I disagree that nothing happened except between the Admins and Mods at the other place because we disagreed with things that had gone on without our knowledge that impacted the members but that is water under the bridge. We created what we feel is the better place for us and welcome everyone that likes what this forum offers. There is no competition between H4O and any other forum. We are who and what we are and they are what they are. End of story.

Good point. I have found it hard be civil after how myself and my friends were treated over there. I hope things work out for Stan and the CHO gang.

To be honest though, I feel a great sense of pride being one of the leaders on H4O. However, this probably would have never happened if it wasn't for Stan and James giving me the opportunity to do such at CHO first. I am in no way a natural leader.

Well put....We are the better for not taking the low road on old history..You folks have made this place, a nice place to visit and have a few laughs..The majority of you are young and like minded, but at the same time quite mature and responsible, I'm impressed...Don't change.

I've been a baptist, a methodist, and a presbyterian ----
love all the forums and have learned to start saving my files before posting up - but may not work another lengthy build thread in my lifetime :shifty:
Also I'm too ignorant on rigs to dispute the wisemen of the web -- wherever they are
Just call me happy
