Sorry John. I dropped the ball this month. Looks like I am on call all February as well. I can help with the planning if a volunteer steps up to lead the pack. I am considering revisiting 2N17X and trying the alternative diamond routes we passed on the loop back on 2N17.

I have been holding off on doing a snow run for the lack of snow. The trails that we would do are basic, but with snow fun. Right now the forecast is that Big Bear might get some snow Saturday and Sunday.

Would anyone be up for Big Bear for the 28th if we do get snow?

No need to say your sorry! I was just stirring the pot a little bit! We are lucky to have such an active group.

That works for me. If no snow, do you want to hit Gold Mountain again? I missed that run, and from what I remember reading on this board, some of you guys have a score to settle with that trail!

I would do Gold Mountain with no snow. But would have to be a smaller group than last time

I am interested in a snow run.

Think we all are. Mother nature hasn't been helping us at all with it though. We might get some snow in Big Bear this weekend into Monday. But right now the forecast is for over the 9,000 foot level.

Well I'm out for this weekend, waiting on switch that controls my main and auxiliary fuel tanks. Has a short and blows the fuse which controls the glow plugs. Had to tow it in twice to Mike, first time didn't know what caused it to shut off and second shut down on the freeway bringing it back home. Ended up stuck in between the merge of the 405 & 5 freeways. It was safer to stay in the beast. The 28th is no good for me either. I should be able to meet any other day though. :D
