Storage units...

Well I have had the storage unit for a while now sometimes I feel like I am wasting money and eventually when I have my own place the garage will get its own spot just for parts but on the bright side I loved the storage unit today...I went down there and found out I dont need to order new parts. I have an OEM halfshaft in great condition and a diff brace bushing that is in great condition and I needed both of these. I guess you pay up front but when you eventually need those parts its nice that I dont have to fork out money.

I've got a couple things in the attic---which is a really bad place to store rock rails and find out your back may be bad! Got some parts in the garage and a lightbar under our bed, which drives my wife nuts for reasons I can't understand. I threatened to store my winch bumper in my daughters room under the piles of clothes, figured she'd never know it was there unless she stubbed a toe on it!
I've also got some stuff in the closet and of course a dedicated room in the basement for alot of the schwag.
I'd have kept my spare 11ft dealer sign if I'd have had more room and could have kept it out of the way from getting damaged, but even in our house where we have a lot of space, an 11 foot sign is still the elephant in the room unless you have an industrial sized facility. I've also been known to store parts in, of all places, the back of the truck. You don't realize how infrequently you use that space until you need it.
