Snag!! Lol there is to much play when sitting on the axel so there is a possibility they won't sit perfect when welding which means the axel won't sit properly.. Needles to say the only way to fix it is to order new perches which won't be here until Monday.. So no truck!!! I screwed myself.. Lol

That's too bad, post up some pics, maybe we can figure out a solution that won't have you waiting a week!

Thanks guys got it all back together.. Even tho I did some cutting already I was able to make it driveable.. I went to a shop and just bought a kit to make sure it all works.. This cost me $150!! Hopefully the other $150 I already spent will go on my offroad trailer!! Or I will be extremely aggitated. Should have the by Monday at the latest but I'm leaving to an instructor school so won't get back at it unlit next week.. Talk about heart broken...

I assume you're talking about the radius on the perches? They come in several sizes, for several axle tube diameters.

I see the receipt in your photo (it lists the parts), that the perches are for a Dana 70/14-bolt/Sterling. That doesn't mean much, and they should really list the actual dimension, rather than the application. (After-all, you're doing something weird...modding an H3! -LOL) However, the 3-3/8" U-bolts listed right above them, are spot-on. Seems like a kit that comes with 3-3/8" U-bolts should also come with 3-3/8" perches. I used a 14-bolt kit myself (3-3/8" tubes) and it worked without any issues. Perhaps a mix-match oversight from your source? Whatever the case...fabbing anything usually requires a certain amount of experimentation. Glad you got it back on the ground.

BTW...the H3 axle housing is sort of unique because the axle tubes reduce in size about 6" outboard of the pumpkin. If you measured the diameter close to the casting, you'll be wrong...the tubes are a different size out by the springs.

OK what brake line do we need to install with this set up? Also I'm going to use the OEM shock/ u-blot plate as the perch so I can run the OEM size shocks right? I'm going to order the blot plate and reuse the OEM u-bolts.

PREVIEW!!!!!!
I am 86% done! I went ahead and used the kit that was sent as a replacement and ofcourse hated it.. I will be pulling it welding my shock mounts so it looks right.. It doesn't appear I'm going to have a lot of issues with axel rap but we will see.. I also have not cut the front bracket yet. I talked to a offroad fabricator I know and he is going to see what he can do cause I would love to keep the height in the rear and bring the front up as close to level as possible.. (Without loosing ride quality) long shot but we will see.. Hopefully done by Monday!!!
