Love that step man, I really need to get the OEM ones for when I'm wearing dress pants, it's really hard to get in when you can't bend your knee much.

Lol I'm the same way. I'm only 5'7 so I literally have to do a crow hop into the truck when wearing my patrol uniform!!!

You should weld a 2"x12" piece of EMG (expanded metal grille) to the top surface, so its got some bite with your shoe. Looks like a shin-banger if you jump on there with muddy boots.

I posted a reply in another thread to your question. Same thing happened to me, JB weld worked and has held for over a year now

Thanks that's what I figured would work... I tried to put the handle back in place and knocked the assembly loose.. Soo now I have to pull the panel off and see if I can put the assembly back together...

Well I couldn't get the handle assembly to go back in place so I brought it to my locate GM dealer.. I already had everything complete stripped for them and 10 min in they come out and say it can't be fixed because its missing the main assembly.. I showed them it was not missing that it was just hanging and they said the would try to put it back in place but the look on their face does not portray confidence.. So now I'm sitting here getting highly agitated thinking about what they are going to say and charge me!!'

Well I have been driving on a busted rear shock mount.. Working on gettin it fixed but shock is probably done.. Anyone got a cheap (used) Rancho 4" shock I can buy.. I just need until I do my SOA because I'm going to upgrade shocks to some big boys...

Rick,

Sorry to here that. I just pulled apart my front drivers side Rancho shock. 5 months or so old. Just got my H3 back today. I'll be upgrading all my shocks as well in the near future. Can't wait to see my old springs put to good use on your SOA build. Good luck with everything.

What shocks you're looking to go with? Knowing now the Rancho shock only have a couple inches in travel, I'm replacing all 4 sooner than later. I'll be going through shocks like crazy, if I keep my Rancho's, with the road we have down here.

I'm looking at going with some heavy duty fox shocks coil overs and all.. But I'm trying to decide to wait on front axel or not. If I can find a cheap way to do a front straight axel swap I want to wait..
Also these are the wheels I'm looking at changing to

Cheap? Lol. Looking forward to that portion of the build! Atleast you have some good people to pick their brains on it here.
