Hello all, after few month trying everything to get my OEM Keyfobs / keyless entry + alarm system working again, I purchased an GM OBD Tech2 and it's still impossible to reprogram the both key fobs. So, while the TPMS are as we know on the same antenna on the BCM, the OBD Tech 2 found the all 4 TPMS out of service....
After resache , it seams that those batteries inside the TPMS are dead. Just ordered new ones pre programmed TMPS and normally , for what i've researched , after installing and acknowledge those with the OBD on the H3, it should be possible again to relearn the Keyfobs to get my OEM alarm system funktion again.........fingers cross, will let you know when it's done.

Probably not. I have the same issue and I think it is the keyless entry/TPMS antennae. This is a coat-hanger size wire that is housed inside the passenger-side A-pillar. It connects to the BCM in the passenger-side kick panel. I have cleaned up the connection (Schwartzzy mod) to try and get it to work. The antennae is no longer available from GM...maybe find a good one in a junkyard? Because both systems failed at the same time, I highly suspect the antennae and not the sensors inside the tires or the fobs. I also believe the antennae failure may be do to a nearby lightning strike, as the problem started after a strong electrical storm. For what its worth, my truck is garaged, has only 56k miles, and the sunroof does not leak...no water intrusion.

My TPMS and keyfobs have not worked for YEARS! Its just something I put up with, a constant scrolling message. Please follow up this thread, if you figure it out.

I've already opened the BCM, cleaned and tight the connectors a little bit like Schwartzy did, add longer cable to the antenna to get it to the A pillar top, nothing works. I still have the TPMS message on dashboard so I hope changing them after 20 years will work. It sucks to open the H3 only by keys 😩 and not having the alarm funktion, my rig sleeps outside. I will let you know, got the TPMS delivered today, have to take an appointment at Tire shop to mount them.

Why bother with the OEM Fobs? When brand new their range is limited and they can't remote start. Get an remote start with fobs and your fighting to get junk OEM fobs to work is over. My old Code Alarm fobs can lock/unlock and/or start the truck from more than 10 houses down the street every time.
