Found one of my atf lines is seeping, since I am going to drop in a new radiator and water pump in a few weeks anyway I may as well put in a cooler while it is all apart. There are like five million coolers on amazon, any suggestions on a make/model?

Get as big of a cooler as you can fit! 24k-28k is a good size. I'll have to see if I can find some links to the coolers and the links to others who have put them in.

Are you adding a cooler or are you bypassing the trans cooler in the radiator? If you are bypassing, you really do need to try and get as large as possible and you'll want to consider adding a thermostat as well. If you are simply adding cooling, you don't need to worry as much about size as theoretically, the OEM does its job, you just want it done a bit better.

How do they self regulate in cold weather? Seems no matter what cooler you use it'd be good to use a thermal bypass, but I've never messed with transmission coolers.

Because it is stacked plates so when the trans fluid is cold it is thick, and it will not flow threw all the plates until it warms up. and as it gets thinner it will flow through more plats. .see THE B&M web site for more info.
They really are a good product.
