only thing about a 360 is the belt maintnence and I don't wanna look like a DB....wife says if I get one she won't drive in it as its embarrassing...

I just want to wait until April and see the new 2015 model. The rumors I am hearing is that these are going to be 200mph cars, even though the fastest I have gone in the SRT is 140. SRT throws in a lot of goodies for owners like track events, VIP tickets to events and such. Once I had the opportunity to drive on a race track I wanted to do it more and more. It's like a bug.

The customer service I've gotten from Chrysler was really good too, far better than anything I ever had from buying a GM vehicle. Even Hummer wasn't as good as what Chrysler has been for me. The only good thing I ever got from buying a new hummer is a jacket, a pair of hummer boots, and some keychains. Any time there was warranty work I was given a piece of crap car from the dealer. The last time I brought the charger in (to install launch control for free mind you), I was given an 8 cylinder challenger to drive around in! One time I brought in the jeep and the dealer had enterprise rental drop off a car at my house. I never got anything even remotely close to that from GM or Hummer dealers.

It's luck of the draw. I always had very bad Jeep service. One of the reasons I bought my H3 was because the local Jeep dealer treated me so bad when I wanted to buy a JK, that I crossed the street and went to the Hummer Dealer. Both my Hummer dealers have been amazing. First Tustin Hummer. Always went out of their way with no questions asked. When I moved to North Carolina I had Hendrick Hummer close to me. They have also been top notch. Whenever I have brought in my H3, which is quite rare, they always loan me a Cadillac. Even the local Chevy dealer for my wife's Suburban gives great service.

I hear you on crap cars..... I had a 2006 GTO, they gave me a Volt while it was in the shop (which was really, annoyingly often).

200mph...impressive...best experience I ever had with a dealership was when I had my 5 series...anytime it was in for service they always gave me a nice loaner and returned my car detailed...

Just picked up a 2013 Duramax Chevrolet Dually 4x4. Replaced my 2500 Duramax that I pull the Hummer with. So far 21mpg on the highway not towing. Can't wait for April to do a good road trip to Moab.

Sorry man, I'm just expressing an opinion. And my opinions sometimes piss people off :giggle:

I'm pretty sure my truck doesn't qualify as a dorkmobile. If I get a crotch rocket it definitely won't be a dorkmobile. Suicide sled maybe, but never a dorkmobile :p

Been looking at Sport Chassis trucks. Haven't pulled the trigger yet. Figure the wife would take it for her horse hauling rig.
360's are nice. Probably the best later model buy in the F market. I have seen nice ones in the mid 60s.

I have been wanting a new truck to replace my 5.3L LS swapped 3/4 ton. But I can not stand the price of them. The used ones are over priced and it has to be 2500hd. The half ton trucks just won't cut it.

I finally found one two weeks ago. It was a base model or work truck. I could not afford the duramax and the 8.1 drinks too much gas. I got a 6.0 L. No traction control nothing fancy, but it has the tow package.

When my hummer is paid off I'm getting a Mini Cooper. Easy in gas and pretty cheap when used.

Just paid off Hummer before Christmas and picked up a used 2005 Mercedes E320 4matic. Bought and serviced since new at local dealer. Previous owner put about 11k a year on it. Gets 26mpg on highway and it's super comfortable to drive. Bought it second to the last sales day of December to drive and amazing deal. Price came in less than an entry level Hyundai which I was considering for my commuter car. Super happy with it.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the engines on that car have an issue with stretched timing chains...when it occurs the check engine light comes on for a timing code...car will run great but to get it to pass emissions if need be it's over $3000 to fix...when we buy these to sell we always drive /scan to make sure it's not an issue...cause if the issue is there we wholesale them...I've seen atleast a dozen with this issue...kinda like the I5's with the p0300...

Learn something new everyday. Unfortunately is almost always too late!! LoL! Rolling the dice with 95k on the odometer. Service F coming up in about 10k. I just had it at the Mercedes dealer for a small WEO issue. Had them throw it on the computer and all looked good. Telling me only an oil change and tire rotation. The $3k fix while steep, wouldn't be too out of line considering what I paid and with the immaculate condition of the car. Guess we'll see what goes up first, my I5 head issue ( my 06' VIN is in the dreaded series) or the E320 timing issue.

hopefully you don't have to see the issue on your Mercedes...the H3 is inevadable...

I had a borrowed mini cooper S for a few weeks last year. In all honesty it was a pretty fun car. I was actually surprised at how quick it was for such a little car. The only thing I didn't think was necessary was the super gigantic speedometer on the car that takes up 30% of the dashboard. Other than that it was the most fun I had in a small car in a long time.

My jeep grand Cherokee diesel has been totally surprising me at 27.5 mpg for daily commuting. If I reset the mileage computer while driving on the highway it will level out around 33 mpg. I think it rivals the mini cooper I was temporarily driving last year and its a full blown suv. It's super quiet and super comfortable.
