Cotilo and Bigunit coordinated their fourth Stuff the Hummers toy drive yesterday, with the toys donated to Salvation Army to help the kids of Tucson and Southern Arizona. With the good weather and lots of hard work promoting the event, there were 50 Hummers and a like number of hot rods on hand enjoying the event.
AZTraveler, AZJohn, Reloader, ces1946, Preferred Chassis Fab were some of the other H4O members that were able to make the event.
Early counts show the collection at 250 bikes and over 13,000 toys!
There were some awesomely decorated Hummers, including this one that won the award for "Most Decorated Hummer"
A few of the Hummers
Hot Rods on the left, Hummers on the right and a classic rolling down the middle
Over 50 items in the silent auction from Ed Hochuli signed game memorabilia to dinners to vintage Star Wars collectibles.
AZTraveler's H3T and expedition trailer (the trailer's for sale!)
Winner of "Most Stuffed Hummer" in part due to the support of Home Depot and its employees
ces1946 was a close runner up in for Most Stuffed Hummer
Tucson SWAT provided the traffic control with each member volunteering his or her time to man the intersections and provide the Hummer caravan uninterrupted route from pickup to dropoff of the toys
More Hummers
Great classics!
"Best in Show" Hot Rod
Preferred Chassis Fabrication made the awards
The kids all volunteered and were able to load the Hummers in about 20 minutes. Here they are racing at the outset to stuff the Hummers
