Love the new paint, I thought your h3 was red, didn't realize you had the solar flare. That's my other favorite color besides the grey. Wonder what the lineX would look like color matched to the solar flare. Probably like a big square orange. Still would be cool to see though :)

Got the remainder of the color change taken care of. Still have a few touch ups but for the most part it is no longer green, black and orange

As far as cons are concerned: It costs a good chunk of change and doesn't really do a whole lot as far as functionality. The Line-X adds some weight to your vehicle which could be a concern. There are plenty of negatives depending who you ask. As far as pros: It looks cool! You wont need to worry about scratches anymore (If that's something you care about) The Line-X dealer I went to gave me the lifetime warranty on the Line-x and will fix it if there are any issues. I know many locations wont do that for custom jobs like this, but I lucked out. Ive also noticed that the radio sounds much better with the Line-X applied. Its like I have dynamat installed all over. Most of all for me, it makes the vehicle "my own" and I love the way it looks.

You certainly have made it easier for me to make a decision of where to do or not... In a year or so I'll be going all white box liner ;)
Thanks for being the pioneer!

Can't wait to see it, are you going to go with line-x or another brand? Whichever it is, make sure you get the clear on top of the white that comes with line-x xtra or premium. It will make things much easier to clean. Id imagine the white will show any and all dirt trapped on the rough surface. Prices also vary by location. Probably because of workload.

I got my H3 inspected yesterday. The guy tried to fail me for having too many lights. I asked him if he was a terrorist then he decided to pass me. I'm not sure if he thought I was serious.

Thanks! Right after I got it done, I was pulling out of the parking lot and there goes a 2006 green h3 right by me.

Hey Ben.... I'm having problems with this spray on bedliner bubbling up. Thinking I just need to lineX all the trim and be done with it. Question though. Can they do everything on the truck or do I have to pull everything off? And what about stripping the old crap? Can they do that ordoi have to do it?

The only time my bedliner bubbled is when there was moisture, are you wiping it with acetone/alcohol before hand?

Yep. I think it's the primer they told me to use. I used regular rustoleum prime on a couple pieces and they seem ok. I'm done missing with this crap. I'm gonna see about getting ALL of my trim done... And both my Thorparts bumpers.

The biggest cost with linex is the labor so pulling the pieces you want done instead of them taping and wiring off will save you done money. Don't worry about the bedliner you have on now, they will scuff it up and shoot right over it

And like I've said to others, get the premium for ease of cleaning and uv stability. Standard linex will turn flat black looking after about a year

If I were having issues with the stuff on there currently, I would strip/sand it off myself before bringing it in. No sense in the Line-X adhering to something that is destined to bubble up and off. The more prep you can do, the cheaper it will be.

My paint job still looks good but I'm waiting for a big hailstorm so insurance will help pay some of the cost. :)
