It is sort of a short informal last minute mud run up to Azusa canyon on the 23 of this month. If anyone is interested on going let me know.
Meet spot will be at the chevron gas station off the 210 highway. (101 N Azusa Ave. Azusa, CA. 91702)
I'll be up there by 0900.
So far it is me and another fellow forum going up there for sure. Calihummer

My dad used to live in Walnut, would of been a good reason to head up there. So how is Azusa canyon, you mentioned mud run but it's hard to believe any natural mud still exists in this drought ridden state.

And it is really good and there's plenty of mud there as well little rivers to cross and what not.
There's some sand in the mud too but that's another story lol

Never been to Azusa. Have heard many stories of a lot of idiots out there. I don't mind mud but deep mud is an issue.

Damn! Looks like a deep south mud bog event. I hate mud...

Not for the faint hearted lol that mud gets everywhere lol. And I mean everywhere, but it is fun as hell, of course if you into this sort of things.

It is really nice little spot Zach and it is true there's a ton of jack asses up there. But just like anywhere else. Also It is fun to watch them try to show off and fail. Anyways there's also a lot of cool people up there too. And if you are to become stuck they don't mind at all pulling you out, I been to other pits where other fellow mudder. they didn't want to help you out. As well there's all type of mud, little puddles, mild, semi deep, and deep soup sauce mud. The H3 can do awesome over in the semi deep , but I did get stuck 2 times stuck in the deep mud. I think mainly cause I have no lockers. Because at one point only two tire were spinning. But I'll never know. Never the less a fun trip.

Im a maybe, will squeaky be done? I am not sure but if I am going to azusa I have to hit the rock course before I hit the mud.

They have obstacles for stock rigs up to this

I think it is really hard for mud to get in your snorkel and even if it does get in. It would stay in the air box and the filter would stop from going in.

What happens when mud gets shot up into your snorkle? Always wondered that.

That snorkel is an air intake. Would send it through the throttle body and probably **** **** up. Kind like water getting into the motor.

Exactly, hit a mud hole too fast and spray a water mud mixture down there and you're still boned. Aren't there pre filters though?

I'm running 38"s with extended tred hoping I can pull through cuz the h2 weighs so much!

Hell yeah you should e more than fine in running 35's and did great IMO.
I'd remove those nerf bars if you haven't already done so.
