Thanks bro. I'll make sure when I install my lift I make a thread about it with a detail list of everything that is going in and pics as well steps on how for the future peps who aren't mechanical knowledgeable as myself. As well so they know what they need.

Do you know what would happen if we installed the lift without having spacers? Just bad rubbing?
Yu probably ripped and destroy your tires since the knuckle would dig in the sidewall of the tire like crazy. That if you are even able to put the tires on.
Something like this but worst
ce345d1edc8f91330678faf6d79dd6a1.jpg

Somebody shared a pic of something like this happening to their brand new tires. Appear toy the tire shop lied to him about rubbing when they installed the tires.

Not with me. My truck is staying as is . . . no lift.

Are you still giving away those new generation rancho lift springs ?

Since I see you've taken your fenders off atleast once I have a question. Have you had to replace any of those clips that hold the fenders on the body? If so, did you use a generic autozone clip or did you have to order the specific gm ones? I broke a few today but I'm thinking I can make an autozone clip work

Hey man I know it's been awhile since you ask about the fender clips I found them at last in this website, they have them and more I'm 100% positive that they have all the clips and retainers.

Couple of more goodies...before installing the rancho Kit. Thanks to Zach I got myself some Alpha T-Bars, lower knuckle, and oem bump stops. And last but not least from differential and rear axel seals for when I drop the front locker.

Well another project is done...functional hood louver...or at least to a point let's see if this serves any purpose which I think it will a little, once I get a pair of rocky road hood louvers then maybe there will be some more improvement on getting the trapped heat inside the engine bay... Or at least just look cool.
As well only a couple of drops of water if any at all manageD to get inside the engine bay, During the rain water mock simulation test.

Also I realize I need start investing in tool jigsaws an what not, trying to do this with just my lil piece of scheiße grinder was quite the task.
Not pretty but functional.

With the working plastic louver now.

Water test.

See how it is completely soaked.
adbdb5341ca44026e5a9b4914fe2059e.jpg

Yet the only little drops of water I got were mainly due to lifting the hood open.
I know it looks dirty but the engine was cover on grinder metal dust and what not.

With the help of 06 H3, yesterday We installed my eaton front locker, into my new to me cast iron differential. As well today I gave it a detail cleaning and replace the cv axel seals, just to make sure everything is good to go for when it all goes in in about a month from now. I also was happy on how easy the seals were to replace.

Can't wait to have this cast iron differential with locker installed alone with all the other mods and upgrades.

This is all I have man.
If you want I could walked you thru whatever you need if you share pics or anything I literally took all of the differential apart between today and yesterday. So I'm confident I can. Help you in whatever you need, I didn't took too many pics because my hands were cover in differential fluid and gasoline.

That seal is what is leaking on my 3, how was the install on the new 3? How many hours do you think it would take me?

The seal took me about 5 min, but it could take longer since you still have to take the wheel and cv axels off and everything that comes with it...overall an easy fix. I say 1-2 hrs install depending on how long u take doing everything else.

Well after a little fun at LCC with the guys...I came home to this.
Damn rocky road sliders...they could have arrived a little sooner.
98dc97af68cc9cd2dbcf1d6c888ae4c9.jpg

oh well thanks to the Rancho Lift Kit I had no problem nor I crapped nothing.
As well I love how the Rancho lift kit performs...I had some really good flexing as well balancing...I made it up the little hill at LCC without any problem whatsoever (no lockers yet).
As well the Rancho lift kit took it first trail dents and scars...Hell Yeah !!

Well them Fvcker sliders didn't fit...idk if I'm more pissed because they didn't fit or because I woke up early for nothing -_____-
Neither side would match the frame holes. Only the passenger side got 2 mounts to match the frame holes

5485d29eb9a10c95b2d901aa84c01ce7.jpg

but one the closes to the front right tire won't match. My first thought it was "maybe it got bended", but after analyzing it closer. My guessing here it is now that they welded the plate inside out.

8394bad6a21ba9743f6af22e7292ae6b.jpg

As for the driver side the only damn mount that match the frame hole was the middle one.
b873e04809f265ce001911405ba61ee2.jpg

The rear and the front mounts wouldn't match at all.
c60adf09dd32bdf19505d17c25d224e3.jpg

7dd7e3b1b5adad55c76d6996cbb1f3c3.jpg

I'm guessing both sides of the frame have the same hole at the same level. Set the slider next to each other and you can see some of the mount welds are welded different, I'm guessing welders error.
Rear mount welds pretty noticeable that they messed up the weld by welding the driver side (right side slider) mount on top of the mount rather than on the bottom end of it like they did on the passenger side (left side slide).
abafa3d6a5868ef78e4fe2dfeb3cb0ee.jpg

Both of the middle one mounts seem to match so no problem there.
b604751f9474ca41ee50e92d0a6731fc.jpg

And the front mounts seem pretty equal but again don't match the frame holes, which once again it only reassures my guess that they mounted them inside out.

I'm going to call them on Monday. Since they don't work weekends. And see if what they say...time to see if they stand behind they lifetime guarantee as they claim on their website.
