Great pics (I think) Doug! Looking forward to seeing you. Thankfully, I no longer fill up as much of the lens.

Did what I hope is the last of the Moab prep today. Drained transmission fluid and put in a new filter (and a drain plug into the pan); changed transfer case fluid; new u-joint in front propshaft; new front pinion seal and new gear oil in diff; fixed divot in oil pan caused by power steering lines resting against the pan. See pic below.

I'm out for this trip. I just found out Saturday morning I got to take a trip to Montreal for business during that week. Upshot is I'll be back in California later in April, I'll probably do a few local trails but I'll be up for the Fall run for sure this year. :)

Let me just dust of my username and say that I'm finally locked in for Moab! Bummed about missing fall and couldn't do that again. I'm shooting for getting in on the 28th, and staying the week, maybe an extra day or two if all goes well. Nevertheless I will be pitching my tent at the outpost and look forward to seeing everyone again!

We have to pull the plug. Got back to to work yesterday from a great snowmobile trip. VP and Three others were fired and two others quit. On top of that. The H3 started having shifting problems while driving through the fine Cheese State. I put about 1k on it and 600 of it,was delayed shifting and the speedo bouncing? Flashing zero codes??? Now that it's home,I'm going to start with the speed sensor and connector. It ran fine the last 300 miles of the 400 mile trip home. I was asked to take a long weekend verses 10 days. I could push the vacation with my new Boss,(Bud of mine) and drive the Cammander out. I don't get a warm and fuzzy feeling with that plan. 4Speed has already helped me with my shifting problem, just need to start throwing parts at it now.

I was looking forward to the painting party with Twins chrome. Now I'm just going to ship it to him. There may be a gift or two inside the box.:bob

Make sure you paint it rainbow colors. He loves that more than chrome

Not making this trip yet again. Different reasons than as always. Does involve work though. Only have a week vacation, won a trip to the Grand Caymans through GM. Might be good for Oct

So who will be in Moab in time for a Sunday trail? We will actually arrive the Wednesday before. No Julie this year, she has too much on her schedule already. My neighbor Matt will be with me, he was on the trip two years ago.

We're going to be there Sunday (plan is to come in Sat evening), but we will be hiking Delicate Arch at least, there might be time for a trail run though!

OK, I just put in my time off request. I'll leave here friday and get there saturday sometime.

Sorry, I've been out of the loop a bit so I haven't been keeping up with this thread. So, I just bring a whole bunch of beer and some TP to stay at the outpost? OK. that will make the worst molotov cocktail in the world, but I'll give it a shot anyways.

Those of us that can hit a trail on Sunday could meet at the Outpost at 9:00am. We'll make a plan for the day from there.
