Wow, I got a lesson in LS lifter failures!

Well, my 2020 Silverado with the 6.2 (L87) had a big failure on Sunday while driving to a nice dinner. A lifter failed in the #8 cylinder and likely bent the pushrod, damaged the cam, etc. Reading online, it appears that many attribute this issue to oil starvation from the AFM (cylinder...

I've not had any issue with this since I got it two years ago. I'm regularly in D1 off road.

    Banner picture issue

Thanks for the feedback. I need to check into these things and put in the usual software patches - but all of that is outside of my skill level today, so I'll hire someone. '

2024 Black Sheep Week, Hurricane, UT - Mar 31-Apr 5

Well the voices (both those inside and outside of my head) have spoken and have requested we repeat in Hurricane, UT in 2024. We saw some great trails this year and we'll find even more next year. Dates: Sunday, March 31, 2024 to Friday, April 5, 2024 Typically the last day of wheeling is...

For those looking for the H3 conversion thread . . .

It's been removed. Other than acting as a promotional piece for the author's business it provided no value to the Hummer community. Except of course for some comedic relief.

Anyone have an H3 Monsoon amp available?

Thinking mine might be going out and so I want to see if anyone's ripped theirs out and it's using up your valuable garage space.

    Oil usage observations

My H3 has been using oil for a long time, generally with blowby on higher demand periods, like long steep highway climbs and off road in low range. Between the highway drive from Phoenix to St. George (400 miles) and the off road use over four days in UT, I had to add over 3 quarts of oil. This...

Please guys,Need help after new CVs

I've had issues with non-AC Delco CVs binding on turns, even when new. You might be able to test by having someone drive slowly back and forth with the wheels turned hard and look for any jumping at the CV joint, binding, non-smooth motion and of course unpleasant sounds.

    Drain on battery

Rip it out? Aftermarket systems are common to cause issues. But I'm not good with electric troubleshooting

    Sand Hollow sneak peak

Wow, that's pretty steep! Shows some of the interesting aspects of Sand Hollow, like how the rear tires often start in sand and how the slickrock seems much softer than in Moab and wears away more quickly. This obstacle might end up in buggy territory if those holes continue to dig out.

Need this part or part number

I don't know exactly what you need, but this is a good resource. If you find the part, and there's no part number, that means it's not available as separate part and/or discontinued.
